Commuting Kills

This is a great article with some great facts and figures on what it costs, physically, mentally, environmentally  and monetarily, every year to have people drive to work. What Mark didn’t really address is the reason why managers like to have people in the office. There has to be a change in mindset before this will ever happen. Managers feel the need to count bodies, have meetings and see bodies in them and look and make sure that they think everyone is working. I am a manager, but I am not one of these managers, I enable people to do their jobs not watch people to make sure they are doing their jobs.
